Let Me Be
Let me be
I am free
I am all right
Life feels tight
Tired of this fight
But won't give in
This is a war that will not end
Make it a war that will not begin.
Cannot reason with hate
Cannot find common ground
Point of view leads to battle
we are being herd like cattle
into the slaughter
don't bother
lead by the Judas Bull
as they dance gaily like fools
All wrong is now right
asking why leads to a fight
Disagree and you can die
Stand your ground to be alive.
Shepherds are wolves that eat the sheep
the earth bleeds as it weeps.
Let me be
I am free
stand my ground
for Liberty abounds
Tread on me
battles will feed
Let Freedom shine
Let me be.
