You can be those slanted slopes of quandary,
                                       asymmetrical lines on my grid 
                            the definition of doubtful,
                                               the night
                    
                                            and my valley 
                     
                                                 --------  
         
                     
                                   Let me be everything else:
                  
                                 
                                            Your certainty
                                               Your truth
                                             Your security
                                               Your light
                                            Your mountain
                                               

                              
                                                “Yours”

I was flipping through your old writes and landed on this by coincidence. Serendipity? Who knows. Two people can have differing views and still care deeply for one another. Many marriages are set up this way. On the other hand, some choose to part ways, in essence saying: let me be. What I'm getting from this poem is she accepts him for who he is and remains: his. Maybe I'm wrong

Could be Serendipity. :) Speaking of which, I love that movie. All things romantic, I love. Differing views can be what this is about. True, while having a different way of seeing things, there's a deep love and connection between them. It's like opposites. He's night and she's day. The main point is: just let me be ' yours.'
