A song I wrote for my mate

As I walk down this road,
I've walked it before, it never gets old.
I see millions of faces,
Their lives will move on, their stories unfold.
Still I stand here beside you,
Against what is right, a statement so bold.
We will stand the trials,
Of societies wrath, of a world so cold.

Let me be the one who makes your heart feel,
Let me be the one to hold you tight.
Because I am the one who loves you for real,
I will always be the one who keeps up the fight.

Pieces fall into place,
My heart is set free, when I feel loves embrase.
I don't want this to end,
I wish time would stop forever, when I look into your face.
But time is working against us,
We always have to follow, We're always made to chase.
As minutes melt into hours,
Our lives are almost over, there is no time to waste.

Let me be the one who makes your heart feel,
Let me be the one to hold you tight.
Because I am the one who loves you for real,
I will always be the one who keeps up the fight.

I will always stand tall,
I'll never give in, and I will never fall.
The can try to condemn me,
I'll always stand my ground, I will never stall.
My strength is what defines me,
I'll keep on fighting on even if I have to crawl!

Who you'll be with every moment, we will cherish them all!
