Let It Travel Through

When you say let's go, I'll be right behind you.
When you come back I'll be new.
Watching you is like a Mid-Summers Dew.
Let it travel through.
The more you kiss the pain away, The more I feel for you.
I feel pain and love for you.
We need to kiss to seal.
To seal the past from the future.
Loving the feeling the feeling when I'm with you.
Let it travel through my veins, And kill the thoughts of hatred.
But when it's the love I feel, It's the love that'll have.
Only with you.
Let it travel through.

This poem was inspired by Ed Owens on PoetrySoup. Although I don't know you enough you
still have a place in my heart; As does Vince Suzadail Jr., and Michael Jordan, they're all
from PoetrySoup. Ed Owens I know how you feel that hurt and lonelyness...... But I'm here
for you anytime you need me.......

If you didn't have loving feelings, you could not have said that to Ed. Your feelings are much stronger than you realize. There is so much inside you that in spite of your pain, you still reach out for someone else. You have so much to offer the world, never look back. Use your writing as an alternative coping skill. It will help. Put all your anger in hurt in your words. God Bless. We do care. You'll be in my prayers, Alexz. Vince

I have learned in life the hard way that hatred in any form is like cancer because it just eats away your inside - I liked this poem because it shows a desire to love instead of hate - I feel for your pain and want you to know I care - I don't understand the self inflicted pain by cutting but I'm researching it in hopes of helping you - God Bless
