Let It Rain

Lost and never to be found,
Is what I thought a while back,
Letting myself fall deeper and deeper,
Till rock bottom is where I smacked,
Wasn't afraid to be in the dark,
Didn't fear always being alone,
Doing whatever I wanted to,
Cause I thought I was already grown,
Present time I sit here and think,
I was so stupid back then,
But where I'm at today I know,
I'll never go back to that again,
I don't want to take the chance,
And go back living in pain,
I want to continue with God,
And have blessing be my rain,
For I am a greater man than,
I have ever been in my past,
I will keep my head raised,
So my happiness will forever last!!

This starts like a song, rather desolate, but ends on such a positive note. It reminds me of a die and go to heaven story. Nice.
