Let It Go

I wish you knew that you aren't unique You're not alone in the secrets that you keep Other people have skeletons in their closets too But you don't hate those people and they don't hate you It may be hard for you to relive your mistakes But life is a running river and not a perfectly still lake The past can be painful, but it's not who you are If you live in your failures, you can't get very far Forgive yourself so that you can grow Acknowledge you have a past, and then let it go
