Let It Be

Having to let go of the pain
Letting go of the hurt that has been felt for so long
The deep feelings of regret pour down like rain rain rain
Rain upon the windowsill splashing down down down
Who will shut the window of discontentment?
What will fill the empty void? What have I done? Whom have I wronged?

More questions than answers, more heartache than joy.
Sitting alone in quiet solitude to ponder, to wonder what might have been.

But than a ray of light illumines all thoughts, the soul, the harsh reality
Coming slowly to the realization that pain is what must be endured.

Life trials and tribulations, negativity has no place in the life of a Christian

Working diligently to serve the Lord, to help those in need
Licking the salty wounds, that taste as bitter as the pill we all must swallow

Life Lessons; positivism is all that matters
In a world of chaos, confusion, illusions of life
Seeking diligently to find the Truth and the way

The Beatles play on a loop in my brain as I sit alone, smile on my face…

                                       “Let it be”
                                       “Let it be”
                                       “Let it be”
