Let Go the Hurt

Of all those enemies out to do you in.
Their hearts made of prideful rotting tin.

Evil souls will with pride, grandly triumph
Cry as you will, or in madness, harumph.

False gods on planet earth are nothing new.
Resentment, above all, you must eschew.

People, by insanity are so sucked in.
By inhumanity and its “popularity” din.

Honoring the devious, in shadows dishonorable.
Till one day, the charlatans will be no more!

At no human’s feet, fall prey to insane adoration.
Destructive souls living for their own glorification.

Be grateful to God, glorify not one human.
Be kind, but no person has God’s acumen!

I am hardly insightful, Bob. You may be. Not me! I am the dumb poet on the block here…and that, Bob is a joke. Or maybe I am fooling myself…you know very well I am no sheeplet. Being oneself is the hardest struggle any human has to face. Blowing kisses is acceptable. Bot golly shut up on truth! Now? Decades after I fought for my rights?lol PR

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ. Colossians 2:6?-?8 NIV

Your spirituality. Reminds me always, God is King. Not mammon. To bow before NO humans as that is IDOL worship. No incense, except to honor God, we live in a lost world. We make humans, gods. Oh, please! None of us are. Grateful, you are a Biblical beacon of light to so many. You are of enormous support to me. Love, Panagiota.

Greetings Yolanda! I love your name, as it is also my cousin’s name.))) It takes chutzpah, soul and honest to God guts, to take derision, isolation, yet keep going… There are no gods or goddesses, here. We are all poets, not philosopher kings or queens. I Have been here three years. No statues need be erected to any poet. But it’s getting that way. How tragic.as not one of us is a god. So no matter what happens here, take a photo of any meaness and send to PS Admin.otherwise snakes rule here. We used to be all worthy poets. No more.it’s sick! I will be reading you. Soup me anytime. I will read yout poetry. Glad you liked the poem. Love Panagiota ***
