Let Go of Sorrow

If you let go of woe,
Then you’ll be free, you know?
There’s another tomorrow
You’re always going to glow and grow

The beautiful light reveals
The darkness that conceals
Your broken heart of cloud 9
This unspoken wound of mine

If you let go,
Then you’ll be free
From sorrow
That, you’ll always be
From down below,
We’ll higher our low
From to and fro,
We will reap what we sow

The path of freedom and no sorrows within -
We can go farther than ever
I’m certain we will return to happiness again
We will get better and do better

If you let go,
Then you’ll be free
From sorrow
That, you’ll always be
Where will we go?
Where will we flee?
Let your emotions show
But, will we ever be free?

The one who brings me to life
You show me life without strife and we can deal with pain without being a sufferer
It won’t hurt badly like a knife
Thrive to pitilessly love this time and we need more than what this life can offer

If you let live,
Then you’ll start to believe that there’s no need to sit in the sewers and grieve
Relieve and give
When you feel that this world doesn’t show you love, you can always believe

JW, this is a vividly descriptive, uplifting poem, but I don't think I get that last line ?? Janice
