LET GO, LET GOD

we wrestle with our issues 
thinking we run this show 
unwilling to let God 
have the control 

let go, let God 
submit and  release 
let go, let God 
grant us perfect peace 

stubborn, obstinate 
Is the nature of man 
reluctant to cleave 
to God's mighty hands 

let go, let God 
submit and release

grant us perfect peace 

life is complicated 
difficulties arise 
but as His offspring 
we should surmise 
God our creator 
who gave us life
Sent us a savior 
Jesus the Christ 
He works for our good 
He does the most 
gave us love, power 
and the Holy Ghost 

So let go, let God

grant us perfect peace
