Let Faith Endure

I am ready to go to Heaven,
But there is one thing I have learned;
To let my faith endure,
While awaiting Christ's return.

As the farmer awaits,
The precious fruit of the earth.
My faith must patiently wait,
Like they did at Christ's birth.

Behold we count the prophets happy,
Who had to wait and endure.
So let us be like them;
To make our journey sure.

Against one another,
We cannot hold a grudge.
Lest we be condemned;
For at the door stands the Judge.

We must have long patience,
It must be established in our hearts;
For the coming of the Lord is nigh,
With Him we shall depart.

Be patient therefore brethern,
Unto the coming of the Lord.
Let your faith endure;
And you shall reap a great reward.
