Lest Any Man Should Boast

There so clearly seen, amongst all the words of scripture As Jesus certainly did mean, even though you're not so sure For it is by His Grace alone, as nothing else could save you So let it be well known of this great gift that Jesus gave anew But just as it was given, you need not accept if you so choose Yet if you knew truth, you'd see Jesus alone paid your dues So let no man boast for as the Lord Himself has clearly said As I only write these posts for those who are being misled But so many will still persist in the making of their own rules Bypassing what is in our midst, taking what the devil offers to fools His Word will keep you strong, His Wisdom so far beyond your own Yet in the singing of His Song, the Joy of His Mercy can be known Jesus did not write this book but referred to it over and over again Surely you could take a new look, written by 40 amazing different men Most of these 40 men never met being written over 1600 long years But all the wisdom one does get as the Lord's Own Word nears Ephesians 2:8-9 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: It is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
