Lessons of Love Part 1

Longing for love is like hoping for rain in a recurring drought.

Tis the reason most people never choose love over doubt.

Whats that about?

Whats life without oxygen to breathe or blood to bleed?

What would fish be without water?

What would birds be without trees?

For most love is a want, but understand that love is one of those needful things.

Like winter to snow and flowers to spring.

Yet we search for a particular love.

Thats the selfish ways of our being.

But love is everywhere.

In our departures and in our greetings.

I wish I had the anecdote.

I wish there was fire and no smoke.

But love is complicated.

And often leaves us devastated.

The reasons behind love's torment is simple.

Because idolization is a sin.

We worship it like it rules the world.

Even love has an end.

Thats why we treat it like a trend.

Here today, gone tomorrow.

Like friends.

So I made amends.

I told my heart and soul that my mind they must forgive.

Cause Lord forbid.

That love conquers me like poor parenting conquers kids.
