Lessons Learned
I was crushed once before,
Gotta make sure it wont happen anymore,
I'm still feeling kind of sore,
That's what I get for going out with a wh_re.
But now your all I think about,
With you there's no doubt,
I'll be going down the right route.
Things happen for a reason,
It's like the changing of the season,
There can be no other way,
With you I'll be some day.
Love has a funny way of working,
It feels like its always lurking,
It's as wonderful as the birds chirping.
If there's one thing Ive learned from the past,
It's not to take it so fast,
Or it might not just last.
I'll be sure to never make those mistakes again,
So we both wont have to go through pain,
And cause so much strain,
'Cuz I don't want this relationship to go down the drain.
One things for sure,
You are my one and only cure,
And I want you to know that my love for you is pure.
