Lessons from far

O ye stars from far,
Out here we humankind are,
Where you’re I wonder.

I laid my heart bare
To starry strings from somewhere,
But blank did they stare.

We miss no one here,
Let me make this mighty clear:
Stay safe in your sphere.

Get rid of false pride,
You’re at no centre reside,
Stars from far decried.

No one’s help we need,
Advice nor ever your creed,
You better pay heed.

Do never enquire,
Nor for once say where you are,
Should ye wish t'go far.

And let me this share,
It’s time that you are aware,
No one here’s so rare,

No one at centre,
Stay within the safe tether
Of your mother star.

Ne’er reveal your place,
Life everywhere under stress
Looks for new address.
