Leroy Was Clearly An Illusion

The mental illness team arrived at the same conclusion I was clearly insane, Leroy was merely a delusion. The young boy and I pensively stared at each other. Me and my should-have-been-dead but much-alive brother. Game—playing Leroy grinned at me with that all-knowing look. I stuck out my tongue and motioned giving him my right hook. Our mother and father were horrified, I could see that. What do you want to do with her? Asked the expert fat cat. Let’s keep her for a week an orderly said. She clearly does not realize Leroy is dead. Leroy laughed and flew away as a bird. As always this scoundrel had the last word.

I like this a lot. A clever and highly effective way to tell this story.

A jaunting write, sad at times, nevertheless, conveyed the best that our memories, to the educated souls who were taught otherwise, try to dispose of that you cherish via special delivery flown to your precious soul ~ Aloha always William

Thank you very much William. I just want to say that some people do see spirits and they are not delusional. I have met many of these people. The trick is to trust the right people when you share what you have seen with your own eyes. Otherwise doodoo doodoo (jaws theme).

Yes, for sure. Love your wordplay, Richard. Adds to the ambience of the day. Smile. Chuckle. Laugh.
