Leo

Sleeping next to me
The sounds of noisy slumber
Warm and steadying

Life surprises me
Love, I did not see coming
Filling me with hope

Pushing out the fear
Fragile evaporations
Welcomed in my heart

Releasing blossoms
From my knotted aging limbs
Looking forward now

A new season calls
Pleasures come without the guilt
New sproutings of faith

My secret to keep
Private lessons for learning
Before it's too late

My arm curls around
Breathing sounds are comforting
I hope I can sleep
