Lent
Lent is a time for giving.
A time for sharing and caring
and a time for prayer.
Lent is a time
to reach out to people
everywhere.
Lent is a time for repentance,
healing and being made whole.
Lent is a time for
cleansing of our soul.
Lent is a time for reflection and
focusing on what lies ahead.
So whatever is on your mind
there's no need to worry.
You can hand it over to God instead!
The enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy
but the Lord came to give us life full of abundance
and full of joy!
Jesus laid down his life so that we may live
and our life back to him we can give.
Jesus loves us regardless of our past
so return to him today
for a love that will always last!
