Lend Lease

LEND LEASE
by
JOHN M. ARRIBAS

As I Gaze over My Earthly Possessions I Smile
I’ve Accumulated These Assets During My Trial
It Was a Dedicated Effort to Amass These Things
Palatial Homes, Grand Piano, Diamond Rings

Once, I Thought All These Earthly Objects Were Mine
Reality Exposed Veracity with the Passage of Time
Others Are Quite Jealous at All the Things I Own
I Know All These Objects, Here, Are Simply on Loan
