Legs Heavy

Legs heavy
From running in place
A life that’s going nowhere
Holds no future
And as others pass me by
I’m stuck
My dash has no scenery
Simply the same omnipresent trees
And I swear they have faces
To laugh at my ineptitude
When will I move on?
