Legacy

Legacy

Happiness is my daughters smile,
may she always be a happy child,
Never to know the sadness mommy fought,
Just the pleasant things her mommy taught,
Never should she cry herself to sleep,
while the man beside her listens to her weep,
Pain is the one thing I wish I could hide,
but at least she will know how her mommy tried.
