Left Without a Word

In all my ways and doings
I know I've etched my feelings
Even without saying a word
My acts have made it broad

And I know, from the look in her eyes
She nurse such feelings as mine
Those very charming eyes
The very ones that charmed my mind

But I shouldn't have been so obvious
When my mind is yet unsaid
When all we share is fictitious
When all is left to fate

So now, I'm pleading heaven
For my sin to be forgiven
For an angel to take to her my word
For I left without a word.
