Left Hanging From the Swing

You came out swinging and talked a good game. But you fizzled out and left me to hang. All alone in this tango for two. It was supposed to be me and you. But you had your eyes set on some other prize. While I was ready for you, you were stuck in the clouds. Wishing on a star. Swimming among the fish. Hoping on a hope. Hanging on... a kiss.
