Left Behind

Truly a horrible place to be in now knowing you were not saved All the times from the Lord you'd flee, all those blessings waved Every day that you let past and all the adoration that you missed Even just the thought of Mass where so many have also remised But there you are, so truly alone with everyone else left behind Turning to you they groan in the hating even more of life's grind But they and you are the same in that you both missed the boat Before life was rather tame and of this you will begin taking note As the worst is yet to come, such suffering has only just begun With such death leaving many numb what used to seem, is done Jesus has left you behind for you did not believe in His Holy Name Rarely entering your mind and for that you now take all the blame Today it all seems so surreal another Godless day among the rest Showing Him exactly how you feel during such a short and brief test The one that you just failed, and even in this will continue to do so His Hands and Feet were nailed and you act as though you don't know Luke 17:36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left(behind).
