My tender eyes can't take more tears
My swollen heart can't bleed more fears
A friend is friends love Devine
But this friendship I should leave behind
My fragile soul is shattered glass
My desperate mind is a painful blast
A friend should be friends love Devine
But this friendship I will leave behind
My hardened feelings spin out of sync
My erratic thoughts can't hardly blink
A friend could be friends love Devine
But this friendship has been left behind
