Left At the Altar

I wish i had known what you were looking for
I wish i had time to be with you a little more

All the while i was there all the time
I'm by your side on the drop of a dime

I might have known what you would find
I feel the atmosphere around you is a special kind

When you leave the room feels empty
The weight on my shoulders becomes hefty

There's no time for consultation
For you i'd search the entire nation

I fall for your spell
On the thought of you i dwell

Your fingers run down my back
You look so sexy dressed in all black

But you left me at the altar
You ran from me some place afar

Now the thought of you brings me pain
It seems i'm now constantly caught in the rain

Closure is what i'm need
I could watch you bleed

But i don't wish you harm
How could i fall for your charm

It had all been so great
It just must be fate

For you to turn out alright
And for me to stay up all night

Depression has struck
And i'm stuck

I will never fall again
I can't go where we've already been

Just know one thing and that is this
The timewe spent together was utter bliss
