Leaving the One You Love

i visit you in hospital,
and your laying in that bed,
i look into your eyes, but they seem so dead,
it seems so hard, hard for you to recover,
unless some cure, can be discovered,
to see my love in so much pain,
it hurts me so much, time and time again,
i long to show you, show you all of my love,
i long for you to know, before you are called by god above,
i really do love you, with all of my heart,
and i know it will kill me, when its time to part,
i think of the good times that we have both had,
and to now look at you laying there is just so so sad,
i want you to know you will always be on my mind,
as a love like yours i could never ever find

Watching someone you love die is very difficult. Although we hate to see them in pain, we always wonder how we will be able to go on when it ends and they are taken to heaven. Very sad, Ken, and beautifully written to touch the reader's heart. Love, carolyn

Sad write. We all face these situations. I hope that this is a topic and not life situation. If it is a life situation, my prayers go out for you and your sick loved one.. Sara
