Leaving Home
It's not easy, mom,
just leaving home....
leave everyone I've ever loved
all I've ever known....
To just walk away
and begin a new..
All on my own , mom,
without you...
But you taught me well
and raised me right
helped me to grow wings, mom,
prepared me for flight...
To see the world, mom,
in a whole new way....
Learn what i couldn't learn,
if Iwere to stay........
