I borrow it from Andrea "a profound topic of the modern world" although I have no first hand experience. But now I can feel. Great. Love Dan...rajat

a profound topic of the modern world. Sad state of affairs well described with brevity.

It is hard, and she is such a brave little soldier trying so hard for, it seems-me. She has been there for three weeks now and they tell me she talked today. But she doesn't cry, and that is what really gets me. She also needed 5 shots on one day to get current on immunizations, she is now legend at the health dept.

Oh it's so tough balancing work and childcare and the guilt you feel leaving them - great haiku:-) Hugs Jan xxx

Very true! I am in college and my wife is working as a nurse so the littlest child has to go to daycare, this is a first for us, the other children all had the benefit of having mom at home when I was doing construction.

Lonely hearts in the hand of caregivers. Elders who insist that life is fine though he/she is longing for loved ones. For toddler's time away from parents who are both working, daycare has become temporary shelter and to socialize with other toddlers, but for parents there is still a guilt feeling for entrusting our child to someone else's care. Inspiring love, nice haiku. Thanks for sharing this Dan. (^_^) Noel.

Yes this is all sad, and yet what to do?
