Leaving

How can I love you
But not like you anymore
I’m sorry this happened
It cuts me to the core.

I think about leaving you
Living on my own
Taking care of just me
I like the way I’ve grown.

I try to talk to you
But you just walk away
Emotions you avoid
I don’t know if I can stay.

I don’t want to hurt you
But it might have to be
I need to be happy
I have to think of me.
