Leaves of Autumn
The amber sun peaks through the fog over the field.
Autumn breezes and whispers of wind will bring
the fall of autumn leaves until,
there is a rainbow on the ground.
Orange, yellow, red, and brown.
Listen to the crunch of leaves beneath your feet,
and the little birds chirping sweetly in the tree.
The little boy plays with a mosquito hawk,
a string tied to it's tail.
A glimpse of a little girl collecting acorns in a pail.
Silently falling to the ground,
these leaves falling all around.
Orange, yellow, red, and brown.
The old man tips his straw hat and wipes the sweat from hid head.
He continues his journey through the bed,
of autumn leaves on the ground.
Orange, yellow, red, and brown.
Silently sleeping all around.
