Leave Him

I see your tears falling like drops of rain
I know that man has hurt you once again
Why can’t you simply walk out and leave him
He can’t change and it’s too late in the game.

He never gave you the love that you deserve
Yet you cannot find it in you to leave.
It’s time to take matters into your hand
Drop him and finally make your stand.

So just leave him, damn it, leave him I say
Take a chance on me, there’s no other way
Look at me I’ve been waiting here for you
Dump that fool, you’ve just got to make him go.

What has that man got that I do not have
I've been here all along to give you my love
I know you have had quite enough of him
Don’t waste your life ‘coz it’s a crying shame.

So just leave him, I beg you, just leave him
No time to waste, let’s take that outbound train
Leave your past behind and start anew
Let’s build our dreams and look to tomorrow.
