Run Mary Run;
As fast as you can.
There is no peace or safety;
In this God forsaken Land.

John throw the ball;
Destroy the wretched thing.
Oh hear how it shatters;
Listen to it's sickening ring.

Jump Spot jump;
Perhaps you'll reach the stars,
And break the evil barriers;
That our progression bars.

Run Mary run,
For your very life's at stake.
Run down the right road Mary,
And don't the path forsake.

Jump Spot Jump;
Till you're tired and out of breath.
Jump Spot jump;
Over the precipice of death.

This brilliant captures the feeling of those early primers in the 50's. Smart poem!
