Learning the Night Club Two Step
It feels so good
To get the chance
Of finally learning
A beautiful dance
Steps seem to be
On a cloud of air
Floating gracefully
Is how it appears
Seeing the dance
It would seem
Like something
From in a dream
The dance steps
Take time to learn
Yes, a lot of practice
As elegance is earned
A partner reflects back
With each step taken
Sharing joyful smiles
In the pattern making
The individual style
Develops in the man
As he creates the lead
The best way he can
Different partners
Step differently
Sometimes we find
One to step perfectly
Either way, once there
The non-stop beam of gleam
Comes bursting from deep inside
As you realize you’re dancing the dream
