Learning Humility, Prayer and Seeking God -2 Chronicles 7: 14
The people of God who God calls His own
have a responsibility to follow their Lord
taking up their cross wherever that goes
standing firm holding fast to His swift sword
Humility is the essence of true religion
living in the fear of God who's fully true
recognise that God is eternally our creator
bow before Him in worship which your due
Come before this God in humble prayer
cry unto your Lord what's in your heart
He says you are to seek my face
be obedient to pray this is always smart
This God hates all sin for it's wicked
the soul that sins will surely die
so turn in repentance to do no sin
follow righteousness is your heart cry
Do this and God will surely forgive
in heaven, your cry is heard for sure
your sins forgiven your land is healed
blessed are you to go on to endure
(2 Chronicles 7:14 )
(“ If my people, who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. “)
