Learning and Living

I'm learning, slowly I'm getting there
Taking off the mask that I wear
And maybe someday you will see
I'm not that girl, I'm a new me

I watched you laugh
I watched you grow
Now i see your better
So i should go
But don't forget the days together
The memories that i hope last forever

I remember so well, your beaming smile
How your eyes light up all the while
I know i'll miss it when you go
The feeling inside, the fuzzy glow

The laugh is gone
The growing stopped
As you left
My smile dropped
Now we are no longer together
I cling to the memories for ever and ever
