Ch’i- Yen-Shih
It’s a Chinese form with four lines of seven ( 7 ) syllables each. Only lines 2 and 4 rhyme.
Please note: each line has a break after the 4th syllable for musicality’s sake. Only words with one syllable must be used.
a gold leaf moon - gilds the night
and dwarfs the stars - in the sky
in the pale glow - of her face
scores of bat pups - learn to fly
