Lead On

The streets are quiet.
Its early enough
For some
Those that want a start.
On the morning rush.
A few drops fall.
Its too humid to settle.
I walk in line.
With gentlemen
And the casual dresser
They lead me.
One to another.
Until the canvas dries
And I'm back in control

What a blessing we have in PoetrySoup. A place to come to write and read and make new friends along the ink trail. I am wishing you a day full of inspiration. I enjoyed reading your poetry today and hope to read many more written by you in the future Lisa. Love, Carol
