Lead me, lead me, my God

Lead me, lead me, my God,
Through the thorns of life, through the gloom and darkness,
Lead me to my beloved,
Through the heat of life, through the blizzard of sins.

Lead me, that I may not inadvertently
To keep me from straying from your path,
Lead me to be one with you
To be one with you, but accept me

“Lead me not to perish
And not to lose the thread of life,
To overcome myself, to rise again,
On the day of your coming, alive.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed New Year.
