Lazy Bancy
Somewhere in the woods, was born a lazy Bancy,
Born to be a winner, hope surrounding her life,
Her life was much a drama, laziness was her banner,
School work was not her choice, learning wasn’t her base,
Exams would trigger ulcers, the results causing disaster,
Lazy Bancy is in exam room, looking around for escape.
Targeting the top performer, lazy Bancy fell in a trap,
Nothing would stop her surely, from getting her target mark,
The more she searched for A’s, the more she got her E’s,
Her hopes were really sinking, pressure was surely mounting,
Eeee’s were in the increase, Dddd’s were in the decrease,
Lazy Bancy is in exam room, looking around for escape.
The time is almost nigh, to separate wheat from the oat,
Ding dong! Ding dong! ‘It’s time for the examinations’
‘Oooops! Am not ready, I have not rehearsed and revised,
Am in double trouble, triple trouble and to be precise,
Lacking confidence, intelligence and needed instruments,
Lazy Bancy is in exam room, looking around for escape.
Aaaah! Passing is my portion, never my devotion,
In the examination, less and less attention,
Oh no! I’II have to get a leakage, never mind integrity,
Cheating in the exam, risk my future results,
Stop! Stop and work for future, have determination,
Let virtue be your portion, never ever cheating.
AMEN.
