Laziness

listen up, here's the thing,
we all know it's true.
You're going to break my hear someday,
that's what you're going to do.
I mean how could I not see it coming?
From the minute you looked my way,
I knew i'd have to start saving my tears
up for that lonely last day.
So why, as I sit here writing this poem,
and I sill drawing hearts around your name,
When I'm fully aware of the tragic end,
that I'm destined to lose the game?
Well, it's simple. I know the answer.
You see, my mind is pretty smart.
And it knows the fate of my current relations,
it just forgot to tell my heart.
