Laying Low
only for a bit
get away from this fit
can't take the lies
sick of all the times
I cared for the years
but now I'm left in tears
and I will never back away
from what I deserve today
and from here I can see
only "as far as far as me"
but those darkness eyes
that I dreamed a night
not what I needed
but it is what I pleaded (for)
so i'll see your passion
and rise my glass and
make sure you will be mine
because girl, you are fine
just the way you are
and I don't care how far
we go
but I know
that we can be
together free
and when your ready to go
you and me, we can lay low

I wrote this at 4:36 last night
after a dream I had about getting
away from it all for a while and
I asked myself who would I take
and I would take my best friend
and only true friend Jocelyne
