Lay Down
I told her to lay down on the bed
Her cheeks went red
I wanted her to tell me
About her dreams awake
but she thought I meant other things instead.
Its okay I'm not good
with girls and words
so I get lost in translation
I understand your hesitation
Love is a train so let's wait together at the station
If you're late
It'll be a complication
Hopefully you understand the situation
I want you to feel comfortable
with everything so let's start the negotiation.
The sun was smiling for us
What a personification.
I love you
Three words
that aren't bound to misinterpretation.
The poem
is about my love for you
So much admiration.
Process me
into your heart I guess that's administration.
Me plus you is addition
You're a true beauty
the center of my concentration.
Stay together like astral bodies
The stars of our constellation.
Long dresses and Nike sneakers
Her body is as elegant as a ballerinas
If this was highschool
I would be the nerd kid
Cheering her on from the bleachers
I could go on forever and
Divide her beauty
Into sub-topics
Like one of your teachers
Her beauty is timeless
Gave her a bouquet of words
Under my poetic license
When I mention her
beauty the world
Enters into a deep
Pure silence
