Law and Order 2

Confusion whirls within my mind Understanding I cannot find As a child, I watched bad police Hurt the innocent, never cease We never thought to hurt them back Or any police white or black We never thought to attack lives Destroy places, where business thrives Lash out at people, not involved Lash out from where it all evolved Now, police hurt a criminal The choice he made, keeps truth still It does indeed show what’s wrong now But in no way justifies how The screams, graffiti, all to drown Our flags burned, statues broken down Things that we love taken away When we weren’t even there that day Yet, people justify all this? As solutions still go amiss I think of peace within my mind In senseless acts, you will not find Heidi Sands 6/24/20

Senseless acts are exactly that; and there is no explaining them away; they cannot be justified. Your poem reminded me of that.

There's no understanding it/them, because ideologues are blind. The only thing to realize full well is that the violence and the threat to the USA is coming from the Radical Left. They are, indeed, the enemy now --- but could still be tamed if the media and the liberals would stop enabling them and start ignoring them!!

Screening? Trump and Moscow Mitch just appointed another Justice with only NINE MONTHS bench experience as the most qualified applicant in America today to hear cases complaining that that their Stimulus cheque went to Stormy Daniels instead of to them! That is what happens when a 6x Bankrupt becomes President! Aloha! Rico

companies test applicants before giving them a job.....so...why are political leaders NOT tested for social abilities, intelligence, logic and reasoning, relevant experience, etc, etc....they ought to be tested because they are responsible for the peoples lives, jobs, and health......but no, politicians care about one thing....their job and pension

Many have used the senseless death of one man to go on the rampage, it does nothing for their cause, burning flags and toppling statues that also does nothing for their cause Many innocent folk both black and white have lost their livelihoods through those thugs. all hell has let loose recently - we had enough to contend with with the pandemic now riots, protests and violence - and it solves nothing just creates more problems and its no wonder cases of the virus are rising again:-( :-( shame we can't live in peace and harmony and accept people for who they are and not have prejudice because of the colour of one's skin:-( hugs jan xx
