Law and Order 1

They scream assaults in their faces
Across the land in all places
Treat all law enforcement the same
When only the some are to blame
There are police with a good soul
Trying to help, in their work role
Dodging objects and spit their way
How do you think they sleep at night?
Told to stand down without a fight
We will not survive in this way
Without law and order today!

I truly think if the media went away, many of these problems would also go away. I believe sometimes people run toward the media to be "featured".

The media makes matters worse, it appears. I am thankful I don't have cable stations hooked up lately for TV. I get the news from my phone and that is even too much. Just think how the media could be used in a positive productive way more to help make a difference! :)

Unfortunately there are bad apples in every facet of society who spoil it for the peaceful protesters - they have another agenda in mind, their own - the police department is no exception. Serious sifting out must be done by Police commissioners, for there is good in every system of society, and it is up to the good guys to dig out the weeds out the die-hards and wipe out racism. We shouldn't say therefore all police are bad, that is not true. Blessings my friend, Jennifer.

A shame that all police are being shown in a bad light because of the actions of a few bad apples. If they were no police it would be like the wild west, people would have something to complain about then. Tom

Tom, thank you, yes it is a shame.. And it is getting harder to watch every day. I have seen them run over by a car, screamed in their faces, objects thrown at them, their police station burnt down, etc. Yet, there are these here wanting to not only defund police, but dismantle police. (It is the way to rid of our front line defense to take over) and YES, they are treating them ALL the same :(

Police officers are always on edge knowing they are THE target, so it is rather daft for anyone to believe they can resist arrest and there will be no consequence! The USA provides FREE defence for anyone who believes their arrest was not warranted. Aloha! Rico

I agree not all police are the same....However I hear from a reliable source who have worked a lot with HR police that there is discrimination towards black people... I do despise generalisation though....

We absolutely need law and order--I agree, Heidi. There are some who disregard rules--even police, and some protesters.

Agreed, 100%. Most effective when a woman writes these words (than when a hulk like me does). Without L&O, we've quickly got chaos! (Did you hear that even Seattle's Mayor is permitting police to disperse the CHOP 'residents' at night now. Miracles Happen). Keep fighting the good fight, my friend. Thanks, Gershon
