Lavender and Lace

            Lavender and lace
            Mother's jewelry drawer
            Time cannot erase

Ooh, this is so fragrant, Panagiota,... so redolent of my grandmother's bureau drawers. You took me back 50 years with three wonderfully penned lines. Screaming FAVE! Happy Friday! :) gw

Hello Gershon~ it's interesting how people at the Soup and outside of it, who read this, must have had the same grandmothers or mothers. I think of Elmwood Park when I read this...such lovely scented women and oh, those drawers. How very magical they were. I even remember how the drawer sounded when I opened it. Beautiful))) Thank you for FAVINg this..an honor..Panagiotaxx

Thank you, Tom. I can still see the drawer and smell the Lavendar. Mmm, Pangie xx
