Laughing With a Lifelong Friend

Out conversations are notorious.
Our loud laughter is uproarious.
Our explosions of mirth are furious.
Other diners smile. Some look curious.

This what it is like with a childhood friend.
Pure happiness does not readily end.
When we are together, all dour descends.
We are flexible and find, as lovely knee bends.

It is so fine to get together with a lifelong friend you haven't seen in a while and pick up where you left off. It happens.

I turn into a ten-year-old when I see them and they do too.
