Laughing Kookaburra

Kookaburra chuckles me to sleep in my deep, deep dreams
Knowing he will sound the alarm in morning sunbeams
My rat terrier awakes with a start, dreams gone, new part

Sara, you have captured that slice of life between dreams and dawn, sleeping and awakening so perfectly! A lovely dream filled with music! Nothing better. Rat terriers are so alert to everything! We have had Wheaten terriers for many years. So nice to know you are also a terrier person! Terrier people are indeed a special "breed!" Blessings!

Yes, Sam. The rat terrier is very active, love to dig holes searching for rats or chipmunks. They actually need plenty of space to use up some of that energy. Our female rat terrier now is a sweetie (she rat terrier and chihuahua mix but looks and acts like a full bred rat terrier). Thanks for the blessings because I need all I can get. How fun that you dreamed of a Kookaburra, Sara: Must have been from watching the video I had with my Wild birds poem. I’m not sure if they eat rat terriers but best to err on the side of caution. Hope you are well. I just had a nasty ‘flu. Hugs, SuZ

Suzanne, oh, my rat terrier is afraid of different sounds especially unfamiliar ones is the reason that I put her in there. LOL..Sorry to learn about you having the flu. I do not desire to have it. I hope it is not one of those viruses that can come to one over the internet. LOL>.Sara K

I feel this way when i had a macaw kingdom in my house, when i lived in another island not the city, every morning i wake up to them screaming. I know how the rat terrier would have felt. I love how your sijos flows, you’ve nailed it! Pleasure reading always your work, sending you light always
