Laugh At Your Own Foibles Before Others Do
If you can laugh at the crazy antics of yourself,
Instead of sitting on the shelf,
You will find others will be laughing with you.
Instead of at you.
If you do this and don't hide your mistakes,
You will have no fear of snakes,
As you climb up ladders,
You could not climb by sitting on the shelf,
An inferior version of self.
So seize the day,
And come out to play,
Come down off the shelf,
And find your better self.
