Late Night Meeting

Could not sleep late last night
So I went to a meeting, right?
I heard a share on vigilance
And how to do due diligence
By being aware of what we say and do
Can make a big difference too
Shared my thoughts on honesty
Spoke without mendacity
Listen to several people say
How they were clean just today
The most intimate topic commends
Much work, it’s called amends
The speaker was extremely brave
Hopefully the people on his list forgave
When it came time to close
I felt better and choose
To return to my nice warm bed
Nothing more bothering my head
